Thank you for stopping by my website!
I serve as Assistant Professor of Management at Albertson College of Business and Economics, University of Idaho.
I examine the effects of corporate governance on firm competitive behavior. I utilize behavioral agency mechanisms to connect CEO wealth with competitive interactions between firms and apply the expectancy-valence model to study the competitive interaction among long-standing competitors. The second area of my research interest focuses on research methods, specifically studying model selection bias in event history analysis. My recent work in research methods has led to a U.S. patent.
I got my Ph.D. in Management at West Virginia University, an MBA in innovation management from Ecole des Ponts Business School, and a Candidate of Science in Statistics degree from Kyiv University.
Before starting my Ph.D., I served as a C-Suite consultant to international and public organizations. I am also a dedicated traveler, and I have visited about 30+ countries. I enjoy building bridges between people from different cultures, which is partially due to my MBA training from École des Ponts ParisTech.

"This is a well-written and engaging paper that provides useful guidance for researchers doing survival analysis. With a large menu of possible empirical techniques (e.g., Kaplan-Meier, Cox proportional hazards, etc.), providing clear and practical recommendations has great value."

"Good work on linking/integrating different streams – platforms, competitive dynamics, etc…while the platform may lack specialized skills, it might afford the complement other benefits (broader access to proprietary inputs, go-to-market resources, network access, etc.). These factors may provide an advantage to the complement relative to complements created by 3rd parties external to the platform."

"I want to express my gratitude for being an outstanding professor this semester. I thoroughly enjoyed your teaching style and felt that I gained a wealth of knowledge from your course. I appreciate that you utilized a lockdown browser for exams, as it encouraged us to truly understand and retain the information, rather than relying on notes. Thank you for that."
